Gjurich Named Player of the Month

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Watertown Wolves forward Tyler Gjurich has been named the Player of the Month for December.

Gjurich played in 11 games for the Wolves and scored 12 goals with 11 assists for 23 points. His best games were on December 1st and 7th, when he scored 4 points in both contests. Gjurich’s 23 points for the month vaulted him from 3rd place in scoring for November to now leading the league with 42 points.

The 26 year old native of Hatfield, PA started his professional career in 2013-2014 with the San Francisco Bulls of the ECHL and Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). Gjurich’s best season was in 2015-16 for the Danbury Titans when he scored 50 goals and 50 assists for 100 points. He is currently in his second season with the Watertown Wolves, after winning the Commissioner's Cup with the team last year.
