Moccasins Pick up Tellstrom in Trade from Zydeco

MONROE, LA - The Monroe Moccasins have announced that they have traded future considerations to the Baton Rouge Zydeco for Defenseman Mathias Tellström.  Tellström, 27, appeared in 20 games last season with 8 goals and 12 assists for a total of 20 points.  “I am excited to be coming back to Louisiana, I can’t wait to make Monroe and the Moccasins proud!” said Tellström.  “We’re thrilled to have Tellström here in Monroe,” said President and Managing Partner Parker Moskal. “We plan to win the Commissioner’s Cup in our 1st year and we believe having Tellsröm on the team will help lead us to that victory!”

The Monroe Moccasins will open their season in October at the Monroe Civic Center.
