PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES SUSPENSIONS FOR 11/2/24

From The FPHL Department of Player Safety

Binghamton, NY – The FPHL Department of Player Safety today have announced the following suspensions.

Port Huron Prowlers Houlihan,  SUSPENDED
Port Huron forward Michael Houlihan has been suspended for One Game as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 39 in Fraser, MI on Saturday, November 2nd.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated,  "This was not a forceful spear that would typically be considered a match penalty but it falls under our automatic ejection and one game suspension for a "cup check". This type of behavior considered a cheap shot and has no place in our game. Mr. Houlihan will be suspended for ONE (1) GAME."

The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 15th season during 2024-25.
