PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES SUSPENSIONS FOR 12/14/24

Binghamton, NY – The FPHL Department of Player Safety today have announced the following suspensions.

Binghamton Black Bears Yates,  SUSPENDED
Binghamton forward Gavin Yates has been suspended for Two Games as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 129 in Danville, IL on Saturday, December 14th.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated,  "Mr. Yates yelled at his opponent twice using derogatory terms to address his opponent. The FPHL does not condone this type of language therefore Mr. Yates will be suspended for TWO (2) GAMES and is now a first-time offender under the 2024-25 Slur and Lewd Gesture policy."


The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 15th season during 2024-25.
