Aleh Shypitsyn Returns to Watertown

Watertown, NY - The Watertown Wolves are proud to announce the signing of Aleh Shypitsyn.

The 5'11", 218 lb native of Minsk, Belarus was traded from the Danville Dashers mid season and made an immediate impact. In 24 games with the Wolves, Shypitsyn had 2 goals and 8 assists, with 28 penalty minutes.

Head Coach Trevor Karasiewicz said: "Zippy was a huge acquisition for us on the back end. He is a stay at home D-man that had 10 points in 24 games. He plays physical and his presence is always known when he's on the ice. We expect a big season out of him."
