ALL-STAR GOALIE CHRIS PAULIN SIGNS WITH BINGHAMTON



BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears of the FPHL announced on Wednesday the signing of goaltender Chris Paulin.  Paulin will join the team ahead of their weekend series against the Watertown Wolves, where he is expected to see his first start of the 2022-23 season.  

Paulin was named to the FPHL's All-Star Squad for the 2021-22 season during his tenure with the Carolina Thunderbirds.  Last season he was among the league-leaders in minutes played, with over 2000 before the All-Star announcement at the near-end of the season.  In between the pipes last year, Paulin boasted a record of 20-15-0, securing the most wins as a goaltender with a single club last season. During his professional career between the FHL & FPHL, Paulin has recorded a regular season record of 48-31-0.   

Chris had previous spent time playing in the FPHL with the Watertown Wolves and the Port Huron Prowlers before rejoining the Thunderbirds in the 2020-21 campaign.  The Lockport, New York, native returns to his home-state, joining the Black Bears 15 games into the season, while Binghamton currently sits 2nd in the Empire Division.     

Paulin and the Black Bears will be in action this weekend inside Vision's Veterans Memorial Arena against the Watertown Wolves.  Both Friday and Saturday night's with begin at 7:00P.M.
