AUSTIN D'ORAZIO NAMED FEBRUARY FPHL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Bingham Black Bears defenseman Austin D’Orazio has been named the Rookie of the Month for February.


D’Orazio appeared in 8 games and recorded 6 goals, 11 assists for 17 points during February. His best two games were on February 20th against the Watertown Wolves with 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points. Austin’s other outstanding game for the month was on February 14th. In the Valentine Day game against the Port Huron Prowlers, he accumulated 4 points (1-3-4).



The 24-year-old is from Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. He is starting his professional career this season with the Black Bears, after spending the two previous years with the Utica Pioneers.
