BABIN NAMED FPHL GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH FOR OCTOBER / NOVEMBER

Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Motor City Rockers goaltender Trevor Babin has been named the Goaltender of the Month for October / November.


Babin had a record of 6-0-0-1 with a 2.27 GAA and a .929 SV% in 9 games for the first 6 weeks of the season. His best game was on November 10th against Port Huron where he gave up just one goal while making 25 saves.


The 25-year-old is from Philadelphia, PA. Babin began his junior hockey career in his hometown, playing for the Philadelphia Revolution (2014-17). In 2017, Trevor’s Revolution team won the EHL Championship. He continued his junior playing days going north to the Bradford Rattlers (GMHL) from 2017-19. He was a 2 times GMHL All-Star (2018-19) and the GMHL Goalie of the Year (2018 & 2019). In addition, he was named the GMHL MVP for the 2018-19 season. Babin began his professional career in the FPHL playing for the Battle Creek Rumble Bees (2019-20). Before playing for the Rockers, he had other FPHL stops playing for the Elmira Enforcers and Delaware Thunder.
