COLGAN NAMED FPHL GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER / DECEMBER
Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Watertown Wolves goaltender Breandan Colgan has been named the Goaltender of the Month for November / December.
Colgan has a record of 7-1-0-0 with a 2.29 GAA and a .933 SV% and 1 shoutout. His best game during November was on the 27th where he recorded his shutout on home ice against Columbus making 40 saves. Breandan’s December 4th game against Binghamton was his best performance for the month as he allowed only 1 goal while making 37 saves. Colgan is currently the league leader in wins, GAA, SV% and is tied in the league with 1 shutout.
The 26-year-old is from Wyneewood, PA and is starting his professional career this season with the Wolves. Breandan is a graduate of West Chester University (ECHA). He was a member of the ECHA All Tournament team (2018-19) and was the 2019 ECHA Playoff MVP for the ECHA 2019 Champion West Chester Rams.
His mother, Carol Colgan, was a member on the Canadian Olympic Rowing team in the 1984 Los Angeles games.
