Daniel Martin Returns to Danville

Danville, IL - The Danville Dashers are proud to announce the return of forward Daniel Martin.

Martin came to the Dashers last year, after opening the season with the Cornwall Nationals. In 31 games with Cornwall, he tallied 9 goals and 9 assists for 18 points. In 16 games with Danville, Martin recorded 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points.

Prior to his professional career, Martin played 4 years of junior hockey split between the Gloucester Rangers of the Central Canadian Hockey League (CCHL) and the Metcalfe Jets of the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL). In 117 games with the Rangers, he scored 24 goals, while adding 29 assists and 53 penalty minutes.
