Danville, IL - The Danville Dashers welcomed in the Mentor Ice Breakers for the first time in franchise history on Friday night and came away with a 6-2 victory.

Danville opened the scoring quickly at the :23 second mark with Justin Brausen netting his second of the season, with Marker and Martin getting the assists. Martin would add to the total at the 12:21 mark with a nice shot through the five hole on Eisenhower, with assists from Atwell and Henning.

The third saw things get very chippy and physical, with seven fighting penalties and three game misconducts. Mentor would add one later in the period off the stick of Brett Oldaker assisted by Ivan Vilcauskas.
