FPHL ANNOUNCES COMMISSIONERS CUP FINALS OFFICIALS

Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospects Hockey League has announced the four referees and four linesmen selected to officiate the 2025–26 Commissioner’s Cup Finals. Selections were based on merit and overall consistency of performance throughout the 2025–26 regular season and postseason.

Referees – Bob Langdon, Carmine Vetrano, Justin Crawford, Justin Baker
Linesmen – Cameron Campbell, Scott Kitts, Justin Kovalsky, Andrew Verderese

As was the case during the regular season, all Commissioner’s Cup Finals games will utilize the four-man officiating system, consisting of two referees and two linesmen.

The FPHL is proud to showcase its officiating staff, many of whom bring experience from higher levels of hockey. Several of this year’s selected officials have worked in leagues such as the NHL, AHL and ECHL in both current and prior seasons.


Overview of Finals Referees

Bob Langdon has over 30 years of professional officiating experience, including six seasons as an NHL referee. His extensive résumé also includes the AHL, ECHL, IHL, UHL, CoHL, CHL, and OHL. Langdon has officiated championship series in multiple leagues, including the IHL, UHL, CoHL, and OHL, as well as an AHL Calder Cup Semifinal. This marks his first Commissioner’s Cup Finals assignment.

Carmine Vetrano is in his third season officiating in the FPHL, with the 2026 postseason marking his second playoff appearance. In addition to his professional experience, he officiates NCAA Division I and ACHA Division I hockey. This is his first Commissioner’s Cup Finals assignment.

Justin Crawford has served as an FPHL referee since 2018 and has officiated NCAA Division I and Division III hockey since 2016. He has worked multiple NCAA playoff seasons, including 2016–17, 2017–18, 2018–19, 2019–20, and 2021–22. This will be his second Commissioner’s Cup Finals appearance.

Justin Baker has been an FPHL official since 2022 and has officiated NCAA hockey since 2016 across multiple conferences. His experience includes several playoff assignments and the UCHC Championship Game in 2019. This is his first Commissioner’s Cup Finals.


Overview of Finals Linesmen

Cameron Campbell has worked in the FPHL since 2018 and, this season, began officiating in both the referee and linesman roles. He has served as an ECHL linesman since 2023 and officiated the 2026 ACHA SEC Championship Game as a referee. This marks his third Commissioner’s Cup Finals appearance.

Scott Kitts has officiated in the FPHL since 2024 following a 15-year career in the ACHA as a referee. This is his first Commissioner’s Cup Finals assignment.

Justin Kovalsky has officiated in the FPHL since 2022. He has worked NCAA Division I and Division III hockey since 2020 and ACHA Division I since 2018. Additionally, he has officiated Major Junior Hockey since 2015 and worked national tournaments and championship games, including in 2023. This is his second Commissioner’s Cup Finals appearance.

Andrew Verderese is in his first professional season in the FPHL. At the collegiate level, he has officiated ACHA Division I since 2022, including two conference championship assignments in 2023. He has also worked the AAU National Tournament (2023–24) and NCAA Division III hockey since 2023. This is his first Commissioner’s Cup Finals.
