FPHL Announces Suspensions


Syracuse, NY (March 28, 2021) – The Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) on Sunday have announced the following suspension:

Port Huron Prowlers Steve Leonard

Port Huron Prowlers Steve Leonard has been suspended Three games as a result of his actions in FPHL game #26, Elmira at Port Huron on Saturday March 27th.  Leonard was assessed four penalties after the conclusion of that game, three of which come with game misconducts under Rule 46 (Fighting Category).  

Leonard initiated a post game altercation on the way off the ice surface following Elmira's OT winning goal in Port Huron and was assessed a Fighting Major along with an Aggressor (Rule 46.2), Continuing or Attempting to Continue a Fight (Rule 46.5), & Instigator in Final Five Minutes of Regulation Time or Anytime in Overtime (Rule 46.12).  

Leonard will miss the upcoming 3 game series in Columbus between the two teams on April 1st-3rd.
