Ice Breakers Add Moskal Via Trade

Mentor, OH - The Mentor Ice Breakers have completed a trade with the Elmira Enforcers, adding rookie forward Parker Moskal in exchange for future considerations. The trade took place on February 21st, but Moskal did not join the team until this weekend's series against the Watertown Wolves.

Moskal, 21, appeared in one game for the Enforcers earlier this season, scoring a goal in their 6-4 loss against the Carolina Thunderbirds on November 2nd. He made his Ice Breakers debut last night and logged a goal and two assists in Mentor's 6-3 win over Watertown.

The San Diego, CA native played four years of junior hockey before beginning his professional career this season. Moskal scored 31 goals and dished out 37 assists for a total of 68 points over 39 games with the Long Beach Bombers of the Western States Hockey League (WSHL) last season. The 6'2", 195 lb forward will give the Ice Breakers additional size, depth, and scoring punch as the team looks to make a run at the fourth and final playoff spot in the FHL.
