IVASHKIN NAMED FPHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR JANUARY
Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that
Binghamton Black Bears forward Nikita Ivashkin has been named the Player of the
Month for January.
Ivashkin played in 8 games for the Black Bears during the month and recorded 9
goals with 10 assists for 19 points to move from 12th place in scoring to 2nd place
during the month. He had 5 multi point games in January with 3 of them
recording 3 points and two 4-point games. The two 4-point games both occurred
on home ice. The first January 6th at home against the Port Huron Prowlers and
the second was January 27th versus the Danbury Hat Tricks. In both of his 4-point
games Nikita has 2 goals and 2 assists
The 23- year-old is from Ramenskoye, Russia and is spending his second season
with the Black Bears. Ivashkin was named the FPHL Rookie of the Year and FPHL
Forward of the Year last season. He played the 2019-20 season with the Carolina
Jr Hurricanes (USPHL-Premier). Ivashkin was an eight-time champion of the
Moscow region.
