IVASHKIN NAMED FPHL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER / DECEMBER

Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Binghamton Black Bears forward Nikita Ivashkin has been named the Rookie of the Month for November / December.


Ivashkin has played in 20 games and has 26 goals with 13 assists for 39 points. He is also leading the league with 3 shorthanded goals. So far in his rookie season he has had three games where he has recorded 4 points in a game. The first was on November 19th (3 goals and an assist) against the Port Huron Prowlers. Nikita had two 4 point games in December, the first on the 10th versus Columbus (3 goals and an assist) and the most recent on December 29th against Danbury (3 goals and an assist).


The 22- year-old is from Ramenskoye, Russia and is enjoying a great start to his professional career this season with the Black Bears. Ivashkin played the 2019-20 season with the Carolina Jr Hurricanes (USPHL-Premier). Ivashkin was an eight time champion of the Moscow region.
