JAY NAMED FPHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Port

Huron Prowler forward Dalton Jay has been named the Player of the Month for

December.


Jay played in 13 games for the Prowlers during the month and recorded 13 goals

with 14 assists for 27 points to move from 13th place in scoring to 2nd place

during the month. Dalton had 8 multi point games in December with 4 of them

recording 3 points and one 4-point game. The 4-point game occurred on

December 10th at home against the Columbus River Dragons. His best weekend

was on December 15 & 16 against the Mississippi Sea Wolves where he

accumulated a total of 3 goals and 3 assists.


The 31-year-old is a native of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Jay played at Westfield

State University (MASCAC). He set the school record in goals and points in a single

season (2015-16) and for his college career. He began his professional career in

the FHL/FPHL with the former Danbury Titans (2016-17). Dalton moved on the

following season (2017-18) to play with the Carolina Thunderbirds before joining

the Port Huron Prowlers where he found a home. This season will be his 6th

season as a Prowler.
