JMAEFF NAMED FPHL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR FEBRUARY

Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Watertown Wolves forward Alexander Jmaeff has been named the Rookie of the Month for February.

Jmaeff played in all 13 games during the month and had 11 goals with 10 assists for 21 points. During the month he went from 6th in the league to third in the league in scoring with 71 points.

He had three games where he has recorded 3 or more points in a game. His first 3-point game of the month was on February 11th against the Danbury Hat Tricks with two goals and 1 assist. Jmaeff then came back the very next day against the Hat Tricks recording a goal and 2 assists. He finished out the month with his best performance against the Binghamton Black Bears scoring 4 points (1 G, 3 A).

The 28- year-old is from Creston, BC, Canada and is starting his professional career with the Wolves. He attended the University of Central Oklahoma (ACHA) from 2015-20. In 2017 Oklahoma won the ACHA Championship.

Jmaeff is related to actor Jim Halpert from the TV show “The Office”.
