KELLY NAMED FPHL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that

Columbus River Dragons forward Jacob Kelly has been named the Rookie of the

Month for December.


Kelly appeared in 10 games during the month and had 13 goals and 4 assists for

17 points. His best game was on December 9th where he recorded a 4-point game

(2 goals and 2 assists). Jacob closed out the 2022 calendar year where he scored a

total of 9 points. On December 22-23 he scored 5 goals against Port Huron. He

followed that up with a 4-point weekend (December 30-31) against the

Mississippi Sea Wolves with 3 goals and 1 assist.


The 22- year-old is from Barrie, Ontario, Canada. He is beginning his professional

career this season with the River Dragons. The last two years Jacob has played for

the Blind River Beavers (NOJHL), TuS Harsfeld (Germany) and Bremen Weserstars

(Germany)
