KEN ANDREWS, FPHL EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospects Hockey League today announces its selection for the FPHL Executive of The Year.   The FPHL Congratulates Ken Andrews of the Port Huron Prowlers as the recipient for  2025-26 FPHL Executive of The Year.

Andrews purchased the Prowlers during the 2025 off-season and became the second owner in the franchise’s history. He brought resources to make upgrades and add staff throughout the organization.

Most notable to fans has been the upgrades to McMorran Place. Fans have enjoyed an NHL-level ice projection system, a brand new, real goal horn, new team store, increased giveaways and more. As a result, the team has seen the most fans come through McMorran’s doors in franchise history. Andrews and his family have been a constant presence at home games helping run in-arena entertainment, the team store and even shoveling the ice during TV timeouts.

Other improvements include a new bus for team travel and significant broadcast equipment and staff investments that have turned the PHP Network into one of the league’s best broadcasts.

Andrews has more plans for improvements and upgrades to McMorran Place where he extended the Prowlers’ lease three more years beyond this season. Under his guidance, the Prowlers are on the cutting edge of minor pro hockey entertainment.

The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 16th season during 2025-26.
