KLINCK NAMED FPHL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Elmira River Sharks forward Steven Klinck has been named the Rookie of the Month for December.


Klinck played in 8 games and had 10 goals and 9 assists for 19 points along with two power play goals. His 19 points for the month moved him up from tied for 18th in league scoring (95th overall) to 11th. Some of his outstanding performances were December 8th on home ice against the Watertown Wolves when he had a goal and four assists for 5 points. Exactly one-week later Steven followed up with another 5-point game against Watertown when he had 5 goals but this time the game was at the Watertown Arena.
