MAC DONALD NAMED FPHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER / DECEMBER
Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Watertown Wolves forward Justin MacDonald has been named the Player of the Month for November / December.
MacDonald has played in 16 games for the Wolves and has scored 19 goals with 21 assists for 40 points to lead the league in scoring. Justin’s best game in November was getting 5 points (2 goals and 3 assists) on November 27th versus Columbus. In December he had another 5 points performance (3 goals and 2 assists) on December 30th against Delaware.
The 31-year-old is a native of Newmarket, ON, Canada. MacDonald has played professionally since 2011. He has previously spent time in Northern New York having played with the 1000 Islands Privateers (2012-13) and with the Wolves in 2014-15. Justin has also played in the SPHL and ECHL.
His father-in-law, Tim Kerr, played in the NHL (1980-93) with the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Rangers and Hartford Whalers.
