MAHFOUZ NAMED FPHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR JANUARY

Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Elmira Enforcers forward Ahmed Mahfouz has been named the Player of the Month for January.

Mahfouz played in 9 games for the Enforcers and scored 10 goals with 18 assists for 28 points. Ahmed’s 28 points in the month moved him from 10th in scoring to now being the league leader. He had three games during the month where he picked up 5 points each against the Battle Creek Rumble Bees, Watertown Wolves and Danbury Hat Tricks. The Danbury game on January 17, 2020 will be a memorable date for Mahfouz. That is the date where he recorded his 800th FPHL point on an assist.

The 30-year-old is a native of Ottawa, ON, Canada. Mahfouz has been a staple of the league since its inception back in 2010 having played for Akwesasne Warriors, Dayton Demonz, Port Huron Prowlers, Cornwall Nationals, Danville Dashers along with the Enforcers. He is the league leader in games played, goal scorer, assist leader, point leader and point leader. Mahfouz has also been on three (3) Commissioner Cup championship teams.
