PANACEK NAMED FPHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER

Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Carolina Thunderbirds forward Petr Panacek has been named the Player of the Month for November.


Panacek played in 13 games for the Thunderbirds and scored 10 goals with 15 assists for 25 points. Along with his 25 points, he also had a plus/minus of a +25. His best game for the month was at home on November 29th against Battle Creek where he had 7 points (4 goals, 3 assists).


His best scoring stretch was during the last week of November (22 -30) where he scored 9 goals along with 7 assists for 16 points. Panacek’s 25 points for the month has him tied for 4th in league scoring.


The 23-year-old native of Vysccans, Czech Republic is spending his second season with the Thunderbirds. Panacek played his junior hockey for the Czech teams before coming over to North America. He has previously played in the FHL/FPHL with the North Shore Knights (2017-18).
