PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES FINE & SUSPENSIONS
The FPHL Department of Player Safety has announced the following suspensions.
Watertown Wolves - Chase DiBari SUSPENDED
Mr. DiBari displayed a lewd gesture towards the officials in protest of a penalty call. This incident is inappropriate & unacceptable. Mr. Dibari is suspended for TWO (2) Games and any future actions deemed to be lewd or inappropriate in the next 12 months will result in a four game suspension.
Topeka Scarecrows - Sammy Bernard SUSPENDED
At the end of the game, Topeka goaltender Sammy Bernard was guilty of shooting the puck into the stands. This is an automatic ONE (1) Game suspension.
Topeka Scarecrows - Robbie Nichols (HC) Fined
Port Huron Prowlers - Chris Paulin (HC) Fined
Both coaches conducted themselves in a manner postgame that earned themselves game misconducts for unsportsmanlike conduct back in the player tunnel. Both coaches have been fined an undisclosed amount.
