PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES SUSPENSIONS FOR 3/8/25

From The FPHL Department of Player Safety

Binghamton, NY – The FPHL Department of Player Safety today have announced the following suspensions.

Danbury Hat Tricks Frolov,  SUSPENDED
Danbury forward Vadim Frolov has been suspended for Two Games as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 305 in Danbury, CT on Saturday, March 8th.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated,
"Mr. Frolov jumped and pummeled his unwilling and unsuspecting opponent with the intent to punish. This is an aggressor and since this is Mr. Frolov's second aggressor penalty this season, he shall be suspended for TWO (2) GAMES.  I am rescinding the abuse of officials penalty. The errant punch was not intended for the official. This would normally be covered with a game misconduct for continuing an altercation but Mr. Frolov already incurred two game misconducts on this play so there will be no further discipline."

Binghamton Black Bears Yates,  SUSPENDED
Binghamton forward Gavin Yates has been suspended for Two Games as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 303 in Wytheville, VA on Saturday, March 8th.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated,
"Mr. Yates has been previously suspended for verbal abuse using particular derogatory slurs which violates the FPHL Executive Board's 2024-25 Slur and Lewd Gesture Policy. Mr. Yates is suspended for TWO (2) GAMES. Any subsequent offense will result in a 4 game suspension.”

Columbus River Dragons Head Coach, Bechard Fined
Columbus Head Coach Jerome Bechard has been Fined an undisclosed amount as a result from his unsportsmanlike actions during FPHL Game No. 307 in Winston-Salem, NC on Saturday March 8th.
