PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES SUSPENSIONS

The FPHL Department of Player Safety has announced the following suspensions.

Port Huron Prowlers - Ben Brockway  SUSPENDED
Mr Brockway went after his opponent who had just delivered a big hit to one of his teammates. His opponent had zero desire to fight but Mr. Brockway delivered four punches to his opponent, knocking him to the ice. This is an aggressor penalty. Mr Brockway is suspended for ONE (1) GAME

Twin Cities Thunderbirds - Luke Dobles  SUSPENDED
Mr. Dobles was assessed a match penalty for slew footing. I do not believe this is a slew foot because the player did not land on his back but I do believe this is a match penalty for attempt to injure. There was absolutely no need for the player to make this judo- type takedown move. He was not in distress or losing the fight he simply decided to use his foot in a dirty manner to throw his opponent to the ice in a very dangerous and reckless play. This type of action can cause serious injury. Mr. Dobles is suspended for TWO (2) Games

Blue Ridge Bobcats - BMilan Breczko  SUSPENDED
Mr. Breczko delivered a 2-handed spear to the groin of his opponent in front of the net after the whistle.  His opponent grabbed his groin and fell to the ice in pain.  Mr. Breczko is suspended for TWO (2) GAMES.
