PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES WEEK 13 SUSPENSIONS REPORT
The FPHL Department of Player Safety has announced the following suspensions from FPHL Week 12.
12/31/25
Baton Rouge Zydeco - Ethan Matchim SUSPENDED
Mr. Matchim disagreed with an offside call that was made and told the referee that he was going to do physical harm to the linesman. There is no room for physical threats to our officials. Mr. Matchim is suspended for ONE (1) GAME
Athens Rock Lobsters - Malik Johnson SUSPENDED
Mr. Johnson took a poor angle of approach when he went to deliver a check to his opponent. I don't believe this to be a malicious play with intent but Mr. Johnson needs to have more situational awareness when his opponent is vulnerable and near the boards. I feel that Mr. Johnson was reckless and careless while making this hit. He is suspended for ONE (1) GAME
Monroe Moccasins - Carlos Fornaris SUSPENDED
After fighting with his opponent, Mr. Fornaris skated towards the penalty bench and delivered an inappropriate gesture to the opposing bench. This is unacceptable, and he is automatically suspended for TWO (2) GAMES under the FPHL Executive Board, Slur and Lewd Gesture Rule. A second offense will elicit a four game suspension and a third will carry a one year ban
Indiana Sentinels - Jhuwon Davis SUSPENDED
Mr. Davis decided that he would express himself with an inappropriate gesture towards the other team's bench. This is unacceptable behavior and Mr. Davis is automatically suspended for TWO (2) GAMES under the FPHL Executive Board, Slurs and Lewd Gesture Rule. A second offense will result in a four game suspension and a third will result in a one year ban
Indiana Sentinels - Everett Thompson FINED
At the end of the game, HC of Indiana Everett Thompson was given a Game misconduct for inciting his opponents. Mr. Thompson has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions
Twin Cities Thunderbirds - Jacob Schnapp SUSPENDED
After Mr. Schnapp's goaltender became embroiled with an opponent, Mr. Schnapp intervened and attempted retribution. The Linesman did an admirable job restraining him and preventing any injury to his opponent. Nonetheless, Mr. Schnapp continuously resisted the linesman as well as attempting to inflict punishment on his opponent by grabbing his helmet/visor several times and pulling and twisting on it. Mr. Schnapp is suspended for ONE (1) GAME

1/3/26
Indiana Sentinels - Noah Hippolyte-Smith SUSPENDED
Mr. Hippolyte-Smith was involved in a scrum and was heard by the linesman relaying a derogatory slur towards his opponent. This goes against the slur and Lewd Gesture policy established by the FPHL Executive board. He will be suspended for TWO (2) GAMES. A second offense will incur a four game suspension and a third will elicit a one year suspension
