Danbury Hat Tricks - Austin Pickford SUSPENDED
After disputing a penalty on his way to the penalty bench, Mr. Pickford yelled a derogatory slur at the referee that was also heard by multiple players and both linesmen. This is unacceptable language that is offensive to a segment of our fans. This slur falls under the FPHL Executive Board Slur and Lewd Gesture Policy. There have been multiple players suspended for using this slur so far this season. We need to remind our players that shouting derogatory terms demeaning individuals is not acceptable to our fanbase with families in attendance. Mr. Pickford is suspended for TWO (2) GAMES
