PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES WEEK 25 SUSPENSIONS REPORT
The FPHL Department of Player Safety has announced the following fines/suspensions from Week 25
3/27/26
Baton Rouge Zydeco - Don Carter Jr. SUSPENDED
I don't consider this to be a clear cut Aggressor as there were punches being thrown by multiple parties once Mr. Carter decided to intervene. I am rescinding the Aggressor penalty but I am supporting and upholding the Game Misconduct penalty. He was the 3rd man in, he was mainly responsible for a one on one incident becoming a melee and he definitely resisted the linesmen from performing their duties. Mr. carter is suspended for ONE (1) GAME
Biloxi Breakers - Matt Stoia SUSPENDED
There is no video of this incident. Based on the officials verbal and written report, Mr. Stoia followed his opponent to the players bench and delivered a forceful spear to the lower abdomen/groin area of his opponent. Mr. Stoia is suspended for ONE (1) GAME

Biloxi Breakers - Brett Riley AC FINED
Mr. Riley was ejected from the game due to unsportsmanlike conduct behavior towards the opposing team by inciting and threatening the opposing teams players. He has been fined an undisclosed amount for his actions.
Biloxi Breakers - Garrett Johnson SUSPENDED
Mr. Johnson skated the length of the ice after the drop of the puck and attempted to engage the opposing goaltender into fighting him. Once the linesman corralled him and tried to get him off the ice, he resisted him and slapped his hands away multiple times. Physically resisting an official is unacceptable. Mr. Johnson is suspended for TWO (2) GAMES

Monroe Moccasins - Jay Croop AC FINED & SUSPENDED
Mr. Croop was extremely displeased after the game ended and verbally abused the officials earning himself a game misconduct. He started his verbal abuse on the ice and it continued off the ice near the locker room where security and police had to restrain him. This is his third game misconduct for verbal abuse and there have been other instances where sticks were thrown and doors were kicked. Mr. Croop is suspended for ONE (1) GAME and has been fined an undisclosed amount for his actions.
NOTE: Multiple Monroe players verbally abused the officials post-game on and off the ice. The building security and the police had to get involved and restrain the coaches and players to allow the officials to get to their locker room. Monroe has been fined an undisclosed amount for these unsportsmanlike actions of the team.
Monroe Moccasins - Andrew Bellant SUSPENDED
Mr. Bellant was dressed in street clothes and had to be restrained by the police from getting to the officials while yelling obscenities directed at the officials multiple times. Players not in uniform have no business being anywhere near the officials and have no right to verbally abuse them. This is the second time he has received a game misconduct for Abuse of Officials and as such, will be suspended for TWO (2) GAMES
