PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES WEEK 8 FINES & SUSPENSIONS REPORT

The FPHL Department of Player Safety has announced the following fines & suspensions.

11/26/25

Port Huron Prowlers - Reginald Millette  SUSPENDED
Mr. Millette took exception with his opponent after a neutral zone face off. He challenged him to fight but his opponent declined. Mr. Millette then jumped his unwilling opponent and delivered 5-6 really good punches to his head area including while he was down on the ice. Mr. Millette is suspended for ONE (1) GAME

Indiana Sentinels - Ryan Glazer  SUSPENDED

Mr. Glazer was involved in a puck battle after a neutral zone face off. As the puck went away, Mr. Glazer whacked his opponent between the legs with the shaft of his stick. He did this not once, but twice. This is intentional and dirty. It is in no way a normal hockey play and he will be suspended for ONE (1) GAME

11/28/25

Biloxi Breakers - AJ Schlepp  SUSPENDED
Mr. Schlepp dropped his gloves unprovoked and went after an opponent on the opening face off of the 3rd period. Mr. Schlepp was assessed an instigator penalty plus a Game Misconduct for continuing an altercation. This led to a 5 on 5 brawl with multiple ejections. According to the official's report, once the linesman had him restrained, " He attempted to swing at and fight everyone and anyone on his way to the box" while resisting the official removing him. This behavior is unacceptable and Mr. Schlepp is suspended for ONE (1) GAME

Topeka Scarecrows - Robbie Nichols HC  Fined
Mr. Nichols conducted himself in a manner post-game that earned him a Game Misconduct penalty. According to the official's report he was standing on the bench/dasher boards screaming at the opposing coach. Upon leaving the ice he attempted to take a route past the opposing bench and had to be rerouted by the officials.  Mr. Nichols has been fined and this is his second Game Misconduct this season.  Mr. Nichols was also ejected for his actions last month and was fined.

11/29/25

Topeka Scarecrows - Hugo Koch  SUSPENDED
Mr. Koch committed a very dangerous and reckless play. He pursued a player at a high rate of speed and deliberately kicked both his legs out from behind. I do not classify this as a slew-foot since I did not see much force delivered to the upper body therefore I am reclassifying it as a Match penalty for attempt to injure-Tripping. Mr. Koch will be suspended for TWO (2) GAMES

Athens Rock Lobsters - Elias Thompson  SUSPENDED
Late in the 2nd period, Monroe player, Tucker Scantlebury was escorted off the ice after an on-ice altercation. As he made his way to his team's locker room, Mr. Thompson, who was dressed in street clothes, approached Mr. Scantlebury from behind, grabbed him by the collar, spun him around and then sucker punched him, knocking him to the ground. This is completely unacceptable behavior on so many different levels. Mr. Thompson had no business being in the area of the opposing team's locker room. Mr. Thompson, dressed in street clothes had no business assaulting an opposing player in his hockey gear. On top of illegally confronting an opposing player, he exacerbated the situation by delivering a dangerous sucker-punch. This behavior cannot and will not be tolerated in the FPHL and Mr. Thompson will be suspended for TEN (10 ) GAMES. This suspension will not take effect until Mr. Thompson completes his 15 day Injured Reserve.

Mr. Rutledge is fined for failing to control his players. I'm fully aware that there was no way that Mr. Rutledge could have known what his player planned to do, but this serves as a warning to all coaches that the players you have on your roster are your responsibility and there are consequences for their actions.

The Commissioner has also levied an undisclosed fine to the Athens Rock Lobsters due to this altercation
