Robertson Named Player of the Month

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Port Huron Prowlers forward Matt Robertson has been named the Player of the Month for February.

Robertson played in 11 games for the Prowlers and scored 8 goals with 16 assists for 24 points. His best games for the month were on February 9th in Mentor and the 24th in Port Huron, where he scored 4 points in both contests. On the 9th he had 4 assists and on the 24th he had 2 goals and 2 assists. Robertson’s 24-point production for the month moved him from 10th place in league scoring to his current 4th place. 

The 31 year old native of Prince Albert, SK started his professional career in 2009-10 with the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the International Hockey League (IHL). Robertson is a veteran of the FHL who has been with the Prowlers since 2016. He was the league's leading scorer for the 2016-17 season and was named the Regular Season Most Valuable Player.
