Rod Davidson Hired as Dashers New Head Coach

Danville, IL - The Danville Dashers are proud to announce the hiring of Rod Davidson as the team's new Head Coach.

Davidson joins the Dashers with years of coaching experience in various leagues, including the ECHL, WPHL, CHL, and WCHL. He led the Indianapolis Ice to win the Ray Miron President's Cup in the Central Hockey League during the 1999-2000 season.

Davidson stated that he puts an emphasis on speed and fans should expect "an aggressive style of play that forces the opposition to turn the puck over." He has a great relationship with Captain Dustin Henning and believes the goalie is a key position to the success of the team. Davidson wants fans to know that he is a player's coach and is looking forward to the challenge.
