After a week of unveiling home-opening dates, first matchups, our new conference and division alignment, the updated standings points system and the postseason path, we are releasing the complete 2026-27 Federal Prospects Hockey League regular-season schedule.

The Most Complex Schedule We Have Ever Built
Creating a schedule for an expanded 17-team league was the most complex regular-season scheduling project we have undertaken.

We had to account for a larger national footprint, an odd number of teams, new conferences and divisions, long-distance travel, arena availability, established rivalries, market priorities and operational needs, and the desire for a broader mix of opponents – all while ensuring that every club received the same 56-game total and an equal split of 28 home and 28 road dates.

Collaboration was essential from the start.

Every team participated by providing arena availability, preferred travel windows, rivalry priorities, market considerations and operational needs. The League Office evaluated that input alongside geography, travel practicality, competitive fairness and the league wide 56-game requirement before approving the final schedule.

The result is a schedule built through leaguewide collaboration and finalized with the needs of all 17 teams in mind.

Familiar Rivalries – and a Broader Mix of Opponents
One of the clearest messages we received from our teams was that they wanted more variety.

Our clubs wanted to preserve the regional rivalries that matter to their fans while also creating more opportunities to face teams outside their immediate divisions – and, where practical, outside their conferences.

The new schedule delivers that mix.

Fans will see:

Important divisional matchups that will shape the four playoff races
Interdivision matchups that will show how teams compare across divisions within the same conference
Cross-conference matchups that bring less familiar opponents into new markets
Established rivalry weekends alongside new competitive relationships
Multi-game series and travel windows designed around practical league operations

This marks a meaningful evolution from previous seasons. The schedule will introduce new opponents and storylines while continuing to feature the matchups that have become part of each market’s hockey identity.

Flexible by Design. Equal Game Count.
The 2026-27 schedule is not fully balanced. Teams will not play every opponent, nor will every club play the same number of games against each divisional or conference opponent.

That flexibility is intentional.

A fully balanced schedule across our expanded national footprint would significantly reduce our ability to account for geography, arena availability, travel efficiency, local rivalries and the operational needs of our teams. The unbalanced format preserves that flexibility while maintaining the same regular-season game count for every club.

Every team will play 56 games. Every team will receive 28 home dates and 28 road dates. Every approved regular-season game – whether played within a division, between divisions or across conferences – will count equally under the 2-1-0 standings system announced earlier this week.

The divisions establish the standings and postseason framework. The schedule provides the flexibility to manage geography, rivalries, arena availability and travel across a growing national league.

Built for This Season – and the Seasons Ahead
The work behind this schedule extends beyond the dates appearing on the page.

Throughout the process, we strengthened the way we collect arena availability, coordinate team input, evaluate travel patterns, validate schedule data and assemble a leaguewide calendar. We also created shared planning tools and clearer workflows that will make future scheduling more efficient, accurate and collaborative.

Those processes, tools and working relationships will carry forward into future seasons, giving us a stronger foundation and a scheduling framework that can evolve as the FPHL grows.

The 2026-27 schedule is therefore more than the result of one offseason. It is another step toward the kind of coordinated, growth-ready league that we are working together to build.=

The FPHL Moves Into the 2026-27 Season
Today’s schedule release also begins the official transition of the FPHL website and league information to the 2026-27 season.

The complete schedule is available immediately through our dedicated schedule hub at https://www.federalhockey.com/fphl-schedule While the rest of the FPHL website is being switched over to the 2026–27 season during the next week or so, this temporary page will serve as the authoritative public source for schedule dates and matchups. The page is organized first by home team, making each club’s 28 home dates easy to review. Fans who want to see the entire league schedule in one place can scroll to the All Games section at the bottom of the page for a complete, unfiltered list of all 476 games.

As the website transition is completed, the following updates will be made over the coming weeks:

Game times will be added as teams finalize them with their arenas
Team-specific schedule pages and dropdown options will be added throughout the league website
Rosters, transactions, statistics and other league information will transition to the new season
Teams will announce ticket information, promotional themes and special-event dates for their individual markets

Fans should follow the website and social channels of their favorite teams for local schedule updates, game times, ticket information, theme nights and other announcements.

Fans can expect activity across the league to accelerate quickly now that the complete schedule is public.
