TYLER BARROW NAMED JANUARY FPHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Columbus River Dragons forward Tyler Barrow has been selected the Player of the Month for January.


Barrow played 10 games for the River Dragons during the month and scored 8 goals, 9 assists for 17 points. He had three games where he accumulated 3-points. Those were on January 9th against the Blue Ridge Bobcats where he had a hat trick (3-0-3). His others were on January 24th versus Baton Rouge Zydeco and to finish the month of January on the 31st against the Biloxi Breakers where in both of those games he went one goal, two assists for three points.


The 28-year-old is a native of Massapequa, New York. Tyler began his professional career in 2022 after spending four years at Wilkes University. His younger brother, Spencer, is playing at Elmira College this season.



The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 16th season during 2025-26
