Tyler Gjurich Returns to Watertown

Watertown, NY - The Watertown Wolves are proud to announce our first player signing for the 2018-2019 season, #22 Tyler Gjurich.

The 5'10", 185 lb native of Hatfield, PA was drafted in 2010 in the 6th round, 87th overall by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the United States Hockey League Entry Draft. After a successful junior career, Gjurich went straight to the ECHL where he suited up for the San Francisco Bulls. In 2015, Tyler spent the season with the Danbury Titans and earned three call ups to the ECHL. He set the FHL on fire, putting up 100 points, including 50 snipes on the way to becoming Regular Season MVP and Forward of the Year. In 2016, he spent the season in the SPHL where he was named Player of the Week twice. Last season, the Wolves sniper scored 56 goals, leading not only the Wolves but the entire FHL. He also added 40 helpers for a total of 96 points. In addition to helping the Wolves win the Commissioner's Cup, he also earned Forward of the Year honors.

Head Coach Trevor Karasiewicz had this to say: "We are excited to have a guy like Tyler back for the upcoming season. He was my go to guy, and the best player in the league. We will be looking for another great season from Tyler and expect him to be a leader on and off the ice. This is a huge signing for the Wolves."

Stay tuned for more signings as we begin to piece together our defense of the Commissioner's Cup!
