TYLER MASTERNAK NAMED JANUARY FPHL GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Monroe Moccasins goaltender Tyler Masternak has been selected the Goaltender of the Month for January.

Masternak was a perfect 7-0-0-0 for the month. His statistics were 12 goals against, for a GAA of 1.74. He made 188 saves for a .940 SV% for January. His best game for the month was on the 31st when he picked up his first shutout against the Baton Rouge Zydeco, making 14 saves. Tyler also had four games where he allowed only one goal.

The 25-year-old is from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Masternak attended University of Wisconsin-Stout from 2021-25. He is beginning his professional career this season with the Moccasins.

The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 16th season during 2025-26
