Veterans Return to Danville

Danville, IL - The Danville Dashers are pleased to announce the re-signing of Justin Levac, Dustin Henning, and Justin Brausen.

Levac is entering his 8th season in the FHL and 6th with the Dashers. Last year, Levac was 2nd on the team with points (70), and led the team in assists (57), which were also career highs for the veteran. In addition, he was named FHL Forward of the Year. In 2012-2013, he earned a call up to the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL, and he spent the 2013-2014 season with the St. Charles Chill of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Henning returns to the Dashers for his 7th season in the league and 6th year with Danville. Throughout his career, Henning has played for four FHL teams in addition to the Dashers, including the Vermont Wild, Watertown Wolves, Port Huron Prowlers, and St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints. The Colorado native has played in 129 games with Danville, scoring 6 goals and adding 35 assists for 41 points. 

Brausen, a two time FHL Forward of the Year is returning to Danville for his 6th season with the team. The Minnesota native has averaged over 60 points in each of the last three seasons. In 50 games last year, Brausen tallied 34 goals and added 27 assists.


The Danville Dashers begin their quest for a second FHL Championship on October 26th when they take on the expansion Elmira Enforcers at the David S. Palmer Arena for their Home Opener.
