WILSON NAMED FPHL GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH FOR FEBRUARY

Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that

Danbury Hat Tricks goaltender Brian Wilson has been named the Goaltender of

the Month for February.


Wilson had a record of 5-1-0-1 with a 2.66 GAA and a .925 SV% in 7 games in

February. Brian was consistent during the month, only having two games where

he gave up more than three goals in a game. Overall, he gave up 19 goals during

the month. With his consistency in February Brian earned a call up to the

Belleville Senators (AHL) on February 23rd.


The 26-year-old is from Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Wilson began his professional

career last season with the Hat Tricks. He also had brief stops last season with

Vermilion County Bobcats (SPHL), Evansville Thunderbolts (SPHL) and in the ECHL

with the Cincinnati Cyclones. Brian spent time playing college hockey at Niagara

University Purple Eagles (ACA) in 2017-21.
