Wolves Outlasts Thunder in Thriller

Harrington, DE - Watertown and Delaware finish up a thriller in Harrington DE, with Watertown winning 7-5.

The 1st period was a physical one with both teams trying to draw first blood. Alex Soucy would score within the first within the first 5:41 of the period. Watertown and Delaware would then go back and forth with Chase Carter scoring for the wolves, Houston Wilson for Delaware and then Michael Mercurio to wrap up the period 2-2.

The 2nd period started and finished like the 1st ended, Denis Gafarov started the scoring for Delaware, Watertown would then respond with a Matt Brown goal as well as another Chase Carter goal. Delaware would not let up as Alex Soucy scores on the Delaware power play making the score 5-4 Thunder.

The 3rd period was an exciting one with a fast pace type of gameplay. Watertown would score 2 goals fast thanks to Elijah Wilson and Matt Brown. Samuel Hrabcak would ice the game with a empty net goal in the final seconds to make the final 7-5.
