Wolves Regular Season Champions

It was a snowy Friday afternoon in Watertown, when the hosts Watertown Wolves welcomed the Delaware Thunder to the Watertown Municipal Arena. The Wolves knew going in to the game, that with a win and a Danbury loss, the team would clinch the number 1 seed, which would mean home advantage thru the whole playoffs.   The games started at the same time, and while Wolves made the job of winning the game 8-1, the game down in Carolina, where Danbury was visiting, was a much tighter affair, the Thunderbirds finally won the game 4-2. This meant that the Watertown Wolves had clinched the number 1 seed!   This is the first time since the 2014-2015 the Wolves have secured the number 1 spot, and we all remember what happened that season!   Lets bring the cup back to where it belongs, the Watertown Municipal Arena!!
